How are these better than doing an internet search for information?
The Internet provides an impressive degree of access to information at unprecedented levels on an international scale. However, when it comes to your health, information found on the Internet can be overwhelming, misleading, and even potentially dangerous. Nutritionist Approved's primary goal is to protect your health by providing you with nutritional information that has been verified by systems of rigorous academic critique. The Nutritionist Approved Database only contains studies that have been published in scientific journals that require data to be subjected to the peer-review system before being accepted into publication. Nutritionist Approved also stays on the cutting edge of new advancements in nutrition research by methodologically updating their database with the most recent information available.

How long has Nutritionist Approved been collecting this research?
In 2004 Ms. Chace developed Nutritionist Approved with the mission to amass credible nutrition information to be used as the basis for educational tools. Over the next five years an extensive database of medical nutrition studies was fully developed, composed of systematically reviewed research using the highest standard of criteria.
How often will the content in the iEat for Life apps be updated?

Why did Nutritionist Approved create these apps?
Nutritionist Approved was conceived by Ms Chace while in clinical practice for over a decade in the Sun Valley, Idaho area. During her time consulting clients on various health conditions, she found that there was an overwhelming need for current, science-based information and research on individual diseases. Through collaboration with local doctors, naturopaths and other health professionals, Ms Chace was able to use the tools of clinical testing to verify results of recommended dietary alterations for her clients. Her group store-walks and seminars rapidly filled with clients eager for current nutrition knowledge. The results spoke for themselves with a waiting list for private sessions, and Ms Chace soon needed a more efficient method for bringing this vital information to a larger audience.
In the Summer of 2009 she began to translate this vital information into the app format to make this information accessible in a quick reference tool. Thus the iEat for Life apps were born.
Why did Nutritionist Approved create NutriSigns™, the in-store signage program?
During the ten years that Ms Chace was in private practice in Sun Valley Idaho, she took her clients on store-walks which are guided tours through the local grocery stores to show them specific foods helpful in their medical and health conditions. She quickly realized that she couldn’t keep up with the growing demand for private store walks and created a series of nutrition-information signs (NutriSigns™) to be placed directly on the grocery store shelves. Primarily, these shelf-talkers provide shoppers with new medical nutrition information covering over 100 health conditions. They also answer shoppers’ most common food and nutrition questions regarding food labeling, food-science, cooking instructions, nutrient content and definitions of terms. They explain in layman's terms complex subjects such as the effects of phytochemicals on disease and health maintenance.
The program covers life-stage specific needs, from infancy to aging, and special needs such as those for women, vegans, athletes and children. NutriSign™ text covers every department in the store including whole foods (produce, bulk items, meat, seafood and dairy), wellness products and supplements.
The information on NutriSigns™ is derived from a comprehensive, and continually revised database of scientific research collected worldwide. Nutritionist Approved NutriSigns™ inform shoppers, and they also help stores increase natural food sales and help stores create healthier communities.
At this time Nutritionist Approved NutriSigns™ provide the most expansive in-store nutrition education program on the market today.
