President
Daniella Chace, is the nutritionist behind Nutritionist Approved Inc. She lives in Port Townsend, WA and works closely with her team to create interesting and easy-to-use educational tools that empower people to improve their health. (daniellachace.com)
Linda Landkammer
Director of Education Programs
Linda Landkammer holds an MA in Education from the University of Washington/Seattle. Ms Landkammer has been integral to the development of NAI since its inception, meticulously grooming the database and guiding the direction of the nutrition education programs.
Rabia Magnusson
Director of Research
Rabia lives in Bellingham, WA, where she is a Master of Science candidate in Experimental Psychology at Western Washington University. Her Master’s program emphasizes the Neurosciences and is focused on the critical analysis of scientific literature in human, animal, and cellular research methodologies. She reviews newly published nutrition research for our database.
Elias York
Software and Web Developer
Eli has designed and built our custom database system and develops and updates our applications and websites. He is largely self-taught and has been working on computers since he was eleven years old. He has been working with as a consultant for Computer Magic and Software Design since 2006.
Matias Booth
Recipe Development Chef
Matias lives in Port Townsend, WA where he has studied with local chefs for the last several years. He works closely with Daniella to develop creative, exciting new recipes using medicinal foods for use in Nutritionist Approved products.
Emmanuel Gomez
Chief Operating Officer
Emmanuel brings years of experience in web applications design and development to NAI. His deep technical understanding and insight into human-computer interactions inform his guidance of NAI product development from iPhone apps to NutriSigns™.
Nuria Gomez
Executive Assistant
Nuria is a Master of Arts Candidate in Somatic Counseling Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, CA. She brings her passion for the intersection of psychology and the health sciences to work for NAI. Nuria's organizational expertise helps to keep NAI running smoothly.
Shanti Giese
Project Manager
Shanti is NAI’s Project Manager. She works from her lakeside Seattle office, coordinating our marketing efforts and managing all of NAI’s promotional events.
Jody Bower
Medical Writer
Jody was the Senior Writer/Editor at Allscripts Health Care Solutions before she came to NAI. She was also the Editor-in-Chief for Healthwise, Inc.’s line of medical self-care books and the Managing Editor of the Virginia Mason Clinic Bulletin. Jody has 30 years of experience in researching, writing, and editing health education materials.
Susanne Segal
Copy Editor
Susanne holds a BA in Health Sciences from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MBA from Simmons Graduate School of Management. She comes to NAI with several years of experience as a copy editor, graphic designer and owner of Olive Tree Press. Her passions are language, travel, yoga, and of course, outrageously healthy food! Medical Advisor
Andrea MD, MPH is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Beth Israel Medical Center’s Continuum Center for Health and Healing in New York. She is the Director of Health Education for Genova Diagnostics in Asheville, NC.

Dr. Charles Weaver, MD
Medical Advisor
Charles is an oncologist who trained at the University of Pennsylvania, National Institutes of Health and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. He is the founder of Cancer Consultants, Inc. in Sun Valley, Idaho, and Women & Cancer Magazine.
Steve Moore
Business Advisor
Steve is a programmer, systems analyst and chef living in Port Townsend, WA. He has served as an interpreter in database language, guiding the development of the NAI Database.
Desmond Brown
Legal Advisor
Desmond is our Harvard Law School, JD cum laude (1986), legal advisor. In addition to advising NAI, he is currently the chief legal counsel for Seattle’s Public Transit Authority, Sound Transit.
